Rachael and Lee found me via a work colleague of theirs that I knew and quickly booked me for their Destination Wedding at Waterfall Gardens Malta, which they’d fallen in love with when wedding location hunting in March 2020. All they knew was they wanted to get married somewhere outside the UK and for friends and family to enjoy a holiday as well as the wedding.
After 2 postponements due to COVID, Rachael and Lee finally got to the big day in May 2022.
Both Rachael and Lee got ready in the morning at the Radisson Blu hotel at St. Julian’s. The hotel had a great backdrop looking out to sea and was a relaxing environment for the pre wedding get ready. A bus then took the wedding parties and guests across the Island of Malta to The Limestone Heritage Park and Waterfall Gardens, which hosted the wedding itself.
A fab outside ceremony in the sun, was followed by the couples invited friends and family relaxing in the surroundings of the old quarry and beautiful orange and lemon trees. As the evening drew in, the spacious marquee hosted the wedding breakfast, speeches and evening disco.

Malta is an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding and Waterfall Gardens in particular is an amazing place to get married. When booking a destination wedding, the planners will often try and persuade you to take local suppliers, however, it is worth taking some time to look around and find a supplier who suits the style you want (local or destination) and will get to know you more before the day.
